Commercial Property First Led by 1000 La Trobe

Poly Australia is revolutionising the way brand new commercial buildings are presented to prospective tenants with the newly launched 1000 La Trobe Street virtual reality platform available for engaging, life-like interactive visits for users at the developments display suite.

Poly Victoria Executive Director Steve Wang said the implementation came after the developer identified the need to create a more comprehensive and immersive experience for potential tenants.

“Our virtual reality asset for 1000 La Trobe showcases the developments design, capabilities and benefits via innovation that far surpasses traditional means of three-dimensional models and still renders,” he said.

“It provides a completely interactive experience, allowing the user to travel through tenancy floors and dedicated amenity spaces, ensuring they gain a real-life feel for how the development can cater to their needs.”

Poly Australia’s 1000 La Trobe virtual reality model is entirely interactive, showcasing the external and internal design, including the ground-floor amenities, on floor test fits, end-of-trip facilities, third spaces, sky balconies, views from each level at various times throughout the day and many other building features.

JLL Victoria’s Senior Director Ashley Buller said, “The future of our industry lies in using technology to enhance the way we invest in, manage and occupy real estate. Occupiers are continuing to demand innovative solutions to visualise the space they are committing to. This interactive design solution is market leading in the commercial office environment and is aligned to Poly’s technology focussed approach in the delivery of 1000 La Trobe Street.”

Edward Knowles, National Director at Colliers International noted, “Not only is this technology interactive and allows prospective customers an opportunity to engage with the building, having the 1000 Latrobe project display suite in Polys offices at Rialto demonstrates quality through the whole experience.”

Designed by internationally acclaimed Woods Bagot, the 40,000-square-metre development will consist of 23 levels reaching approximately 91m high and will be the first major tower in the Digital Harbour Precinct. It consists of highly efficient floor plates averaging 2100-square-metres, allowing ample flexibility for tenants. The design hosts the opportunity for vertical floor integrations, access to health and wellness facilities, and a 700-square-metre co-working centre. It also includes a substantial ground floor retail mix consisting of cafes, retail services and other amenities.

Probuild are expected to commence main construction in Q4 2019 and the development remains on schedule to be completed in Q4 2021.

Poly Australia is currently taking tenant queries for 1000 La Trobe through Colliers International and JLL Australia.
