The 1000 La Trobe Street site is situated on the south side of the Digital Harbour precinct in the Melbourne Docklands, west of the Central Building District and north of the Stadium Precinct
The site is bounded by La Trobe Street on the south, 1010 La Trobe Street on the west, Digital Drive on the east and Innovation Green, a landscaped area, to the north
The site is in close proximity to New Quay, Harbour Esplanade and Victoria Harbour
The existing site includes a permanent shade structure for car parking, bitumen & gravel car park, a road connecting Digital Drive and the 990 La Trobe Street loading dock, grassed areas and concrete footpaths & stairs
The development proposal includes demolition & removal of all existing items on the site, with exception of trees on the northern boundary
